Job Requirements:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant Intern to join our team. Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
- Preparing statutory accounts.
- Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
- Recording and filing cash transactions.
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Invoice processing and filing.
- Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Handle full sets of accounts
- Accounting data entry in the system
- Maintain accurate supplier master data, process supplier invoices and payments, and accounts payable reconciliation
- Perform basic accounting duties on AR and AP
- Prepare monthly management report
- Manage and maintain the filing of documents, correspondence, and contracts
- Provide support to the office as necessary in administrative tasks
- Assist GM in quarterly GST reporting
- Support internal and external audits for ISO 9001 and any other certifications
- Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents, and Company Secretary
- Application and submission for government grants/subsidies
- Liaise with Insurance Agent on the renewal of policies
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers
- Other accounting & admin duties as required
A Successful Candidate should have/be:
Min. Diploma in Accounting or related qualification
Knowledge of the use of the Autocount Accounting system is an added advantage
Proficient in MS Excel
Energetic, initiative, and able to adapt to the fast-paced working environment
Able to work independently and communicate effectively with both external and internal parties.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Demonstrates an ability to work independently and in a team

The Opportunity
As part of the Finance & Accounts team, you will report to the Manager – Finance & Accounting. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following account receivables duties:
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end closing.
Perform monthly reconciliations of stocks, clearing accounts and customer loyalty programmes to the general ledger and follow up with operations to clear outstanding issues.
Perform deem GST on gifts.
Provides support and advice to enquiries from Operations.
Prepare consolidation package and tax package schedules for statutory and internal reporting.
Assist in stock take and fixed assets sighting exercise. Assist in internal & external audits.
Ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting, preferably 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.

The Opportunity
As part of the Finance & Accounts team, you will report to the Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Verify and process vendor invoices to ensure that expenditures are recorded and payment processed timely.
Review and reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger balances; liaise with internal/external parties to verify discrepancies identified.
Preparation of bi-weekly payment forecast for Treasury.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose / implement such improvements as appropriate.
Process & payment for staff claims.
Participate in system implementation projects.

Preparation of month-end/year-end audit & Tax schedules and related Journal.
Any other ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:
Candidate should possess at least a Degree/Diploma or professional qualification in Accounting, preferably not less than 3 years of hands-on accounting experience

Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly management accounts
- Assists in preparing the statutory accounts
- Prepares monthly and year-end accounts of the company in accordance with group requirement
- Supervises the maintenance of the Fixed Assets Register
- Organises annual stock take of inventory and reconciles discrepancies
- Reconciles inter-company accounts including loans and interest calculations
- Reviews accounting work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Liaises with government authorities, auditors, and external accounting bodies on accounting matters
- Liaises and advises the departments on accounting issues
- Prepares corporate tax computation
- Reviews of GST schedules and reconciliation
- Any ad hoc duties when required
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of working experience in keeping the general ledger accounts, reconciliation of monthly accounts and preparation of monthly financial statements, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Possesses good knowledge of costing standards and current development in the accountant standard and taxation matters
- Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software
