[Essential Job Functions] As an Experience Designer, you will have to work with Exhibition Designers and Engineers to create and implement intuitive, user-friendly and experience enriched exhibitions. Essential Job Functions As a technician, you will look after the maintenance and proper functioning of the exhibits in the Centre. You are required to carry out periodic maintenance, troubleshoot and resolve electromechanical and computer-related faults that might arise with exhibits, in the Science Centre and KidsStop on a rotational schedule with the rest of the Exhibit Maintenance team. Requirements The candidate should have good knowledge in Mechatronics/Electronics. He should be proficient in the use of simple test equipment in exhibit troubleshooting work and have at least 2 years of work experience in maintaining and servicing electronic, electro-mechanical equipment. Good knowledge of computer hardware and programming systems would be an advantage. Rotating 5-day work shifts is a requirement, while duties on weekends and public holidays will be scheduled as and when required. Other Skills/Abilities The ability to handle basic equipments and tools would be useful in carrying out the duties. Having a strong interest in taking apart or fixing things is preferred.
