[Position Overview]
Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, and to contribute to the nation's development of its human resource.
We are looking for a dynamic candidate to join the Events and Engagement department as a Project Officer.
[Essential Job Functions]
You are responsible for planning and executing STEM events and outreach projects that inspire and nurture the passion for scientific inquiry and interest. You will develop and deliver inclusive, impactful and unique learning experiences in terms of STEM for students, teachers, public and families that will drive visitorship and generate revenue for Science Centre Singapore. You will also conduct science education programmes for school groups and general public.
[Requirements]
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of STEM and modern concepts in Science and Technology.
Prior experience in event management, budget and project planning, or teaching would be an advantage.
The candidate must be passionate, innovative, professional with good quality of work. The ability to express clearly in written and oral communication is essential. Additionally, he/she must have integrity, detailed oriented, a team player with good communication and decision-making skills.
Required to work on weekends and public holidays.
