Job Description
Join us as a Senior Stewarding Supervisor in Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. Your main responsibilities for managing the Stewarding operations ensuring cleanliness, quality and presentation standards established by the Hotel are met.
Main Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure equipment inventory and utilization of budgetary resources towards operational supplies and cleaning supplies (including pest control substances).
Lead and direct the team to ensure the smooth operation of Stewarding functions.
Work closely together with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of work in food preparation and F&B service, including restaurant events, banquet set-ups, dish-up, buffets and breakdown.
Monitor work hours, scheduling and vacation planning of Stewarding associates while adhering to budgeted labour costs based on hotel occupancy and work volumes.
Participate in recruitment and selection of all Stewarding associates, and make hiring decisions
Responsible for establishing department objectives, policies and procedures, designed to provide service levels, which exceed the expectations of both internal departments and guests.
Provide input and conduct probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelines
Engages in and supervises the cleaning of kitchen and equipment
Maintain a safe working environment in all sections of stewarding within the kitchens.
What we need from you:
Minimum 1 - 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
