Job Description
Overview
Perform technical duties under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs in AH.
Job Responsibilities
Picking, packing and labeling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
Processing medication orders
Performs the following medication reconciliation steps: counting, sorting and typing of prescriptions
Ensures stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out requirement and stipulated storage condition
Performs topping up of omnicell ward stock in the respective wards
Processing of daily nurse request orders for inpatient supplies
Ensures work area is ready for daily operations and oversees general housekeeping
Performs profession and courteous service to all patients/customers
Ensures a proper system of pre-packing medications
Carries out cycle counts and stock accurately and accordingly to the SOP
Requirements
Minimum O Levels
Understand and use the in-house computer systems
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and have good initiative
Able to communicate effectively
Able to function effectively as a member of a team
