Job Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and production schedules
- Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to enhance team skills and capabilities
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the production of high-quality seafood products
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any issues and maintain compliance with industry regulations
- Monitor and manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions, implementing best practices to enhance overall operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
You need to have/be:
- Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a food processing environment, with a focus on production supervision or management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in food processing
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the food industry
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
