Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee project and production schedules to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Work with Operation team to ensure products are delivered to customers accordingly to the specified requirements on time and on budget.
- Recommend resorce and capability planning required for successful project completion within the required deadlines.
- Communicate with and manage internal department and customers on project status and timeline.
- Comply with rules and procedures for Engineering, Quality and Safety.
- Manage project-related risks. Support all efforts related to workplace safety and health where applicable.
- Execute, continuously monitorand feedback projects based on schedule and milestones internally and externally to meet deliverable targets.
- Plan, create and revise manufacturing protocols, flowcharts, workflows and production schedules based on Assistant Production manager's input and existing and/or new production capabilities, and advise Assistant General Manager or Assistant Production Manager on potential delays.
- Draft estimation of material usage based on current project needs, production capacity and buffer time and procure materials.
- Monitor, track and ensure ERP systems' transactions correctly reflect the flow of semi-finished goods from station to station and its corresponding material usage.
- Interact with internal department on workflow, deliverables, quality requirements, gaps between capacity of production line and resources, material estimation, planning and scheduling, etc.
- Peform any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and/or fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment or marine background will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with different marine classification societies' standards and requirements will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with risk management.
- Possess business knowledge and acumen.
- Analytical mind with attention to details.
- Independent, resourceful, and able to work with stateholders from a diverse culture and background.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Project Planning Tools.

Qualifications:

Diploma

Must-have skills:

Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Project Planning Tools. Familiar with risk management. Possess business knowledge and acumen.

Nice to Have Skills:

Familiar with different marine classification societies' standards and requirements.
