ABOUT THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION (NIE)

NIE invites suitable applications for the position of Manager in the Human Resource Department.
Responsibilities
• Manage a spectrum of HR functions for NIE faculty and MOE education officers seconded to NIE which include recruitment, contract renewal, promotion, compensation and benefits, performance management, career development and other service-related matters.
• Contribute to NIE and HR initiatives and projects and play an active role in the planning and organization of HR events.
• Review HR policies, schemes and processes.
Requirements
• A good University Degree, preferably with specialization in HR Management.
• 4-6 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Experience in an Institute of Higher Learning setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication (written and spoken) skills.
• Meticulous and strong with numbers.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team player.
• Good IT skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Able to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion, while building trust and upholding confidentiality.
