Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role of the Maintenance Senior Technician / Assistant Engineer is to carry out routine and non-routine maintenance activities in the Food Productions factories environment. To ensures the quality of maintenance work in his/her designated area and ensures that the necessary standards of housekeeping and safe work practices are maintained.
REPORTING LINE:
• Senior Manager, Factory Operations
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide maintenance service of all equipment and facilities in the Food Production factories.
• Conduct on-site checks and repairs
• Ensure quality works are be carried out on time schedule
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Maintain proper maintenance logs on key equipment used in the factory.
• Supervise routine facilities maintenance outsourced to contractors.
• Support operations ramp-up activities and maintenance program.
• 24/7 standby in responding to equipment breakdowns and troubleshooting in fast pace working environment
• Perform operations/record of industrial service equipment and stand alone equipment in factories, make sure industrial service equipment and facilities in good working condition
• Participate in the improvement initiative with production team to optimize and achieve towards efficiency and consistent of product quality of automation.
• Maintain and repair air-conditioners, cold room, air handling unit system (AHU) and factories facilities
• Ensure smooth production by ordering and maintaining spare parts inventories for ad-hoc repairs and scheduled wear and tear replacements.
• Lead and train production crews in proper handling and good maintaining practices towards production machineries, tools and equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, process engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the food industrial sector, FMCG manufacturing processes or a similar field
• Practical experience within their areas of specialization e.g. factory/hotel experience, being part of maintenance teams
• Hands on repairing and troubleshoot works with dough making, flour mixer and silo and conveying system will be advantage
• Up to date knowledge of quality, safety and hygiene and environment requirements
• Good interpersonal skills with the attributes of a team player and a keen eye for details
• Motivated and results-oriented
• Possess a positive attitude and learning minds
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
• Able to perform basic statistical collation with general working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
LOCATION / OTHERS:
• 5.5 days work week (Alternate Saturday)
o Monday to Friday: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
o Saturday : 8:00 am to 1:00 pm (1-hour unpaid break included)
