Job Description

Overview:

As part of our expansion and commitment to aesthetic excellence, we are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. This role will focus on enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of our corporate offices and retail boutiques.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Space Planning and Design:

  1. Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts for our corporate offices and retail boutiques.
  2. Conduct site visits and assessments to understand space requirements and constraints.

Conceptualization and Visualization:

  1. Create detailed mood boards, color schemes, and design presentations for approval.
  2. Utilize 3D modeling software to provide visual representations of proposed designs.

Material and Furniture Selection:

  1. Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture that align with the company's brand image and design goals.
  2. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of selected materials.

Budget Management:

  1. Work closely with the project management team to develop and manage budgets for interior design projects.
  2. Identify cost-effective solutions without compromising on design quality.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  1. Liaise with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
  2. Provide guidance and support to the construction team during the implementation phase.

Quality Control:

  1. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that the design vision is executed accurately and meets quality standards.
  2. Address any design-related issues promptly to maintain project timelines.

Trend Research and Innovation:

  1. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design solutions.
  2. Integrate new and creative ideas into the design process to keep our spaces fresh and appealing.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 2D/3D modeling software, and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and material selection.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices is a plus.
