2D Designer

<p> </p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p>At ROYAL INSIGNIA, design is at the core of everything we do, and designers the blood of the company. As a designer, you are responsible for ensuring that the company produces quality designs that are creative, in line with the company’s design direction, and customer’s expectations.</p><p>The Industrial Designer/Product Designer/2D Designer is the bridge between the design and production team; regular communication with both teams is paramount to the efficient performance of his role.</p><p>He / she possesses good analytical, problem-solving and visualization skills, and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and produce artwork, design illustrations, and graphic documents using a range of manual and digital techniques and media</li><li>Produce 2D drawings & models for 3D presentation purposes. The drafter should be well-versed in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Rhinoceros</li><li>Maintain an awareness of trends and developments in design, materials, techniques and technology. 3D Designer

<p>Industrial/Product Designers are key to the success of every design team. Not only does the drafter need to have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, he / she needs to develop an eye for the aesthetics which will enable him / her to best interpret the designer’s intentions.</p><p> </p><p>The Industrial Designer/Product Designer/3D Designer is the bridge between the design and production team; regular communication with both teams is paramount to the efficient performance of his role.</p><p> </p><p>As the position of Industrial/Product Designers is new to Royal Insignia, the Industrial/Product Designers will be expected to develop and maintain a set of Standard Operating Processes (SOP) for all draft works undertaken by the company.</p><p> </p><p>He / she possesses high detail-orientation and adheres to engineering calculations, regulations and specifications involved in engineering designs. He / she possesses good analytical, problem-solving and visualisation skills, and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.</p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li>Produce and post-process the tool path data into machine specific codes for multi-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machining</li><li>Create prototypes using 3D printing technology</li><li>Consult with the design team regularly to understand the aesthetics of the design and the effect the designers are trying to achieve</li><li>Produce 3D models of 2D designs for presentation purposes</li><li>Conduct extensive research to identify machinery and technology that can make the manufacturing process more efficient and produce interesting effects</li><li>Knowledge in softwares like Rhino/Fusion360/Solidworks/Keyshot will be advantegous</li></ul>
CNC Machine Operator

<p>Overall Objectives:</p><p>The CNC Machinist works under close supervision to carry out structured work while adhering closely to standard work instructions and procedures.</p><p>He/ She sets up and operates special purpose equipment/machines to fabricate components and parts. In the process, he/she is required to read and interpret sketches, drawings, manuals and specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and set-up requirements.</p><p>He/ She also observes the machines, detects malfunctions and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations. <p>The Operations Executive supports the coordination of day-to-day production operations and schedules.
