Job Description
• To perform routine housekeeping duties (cleaning of bathrooms and toilets, cleaning of floor, furniture, bed making) in the assigned area
• To clean discharged beds and isolation rooms
• To perform periodic cleaning according to schedule (e.g. high dusting, curtain changing, deep floor scrubbing)
• To take food orders from patients and liaise with kitchen
• To verify and serve meal trays against patient listing.
• To ensure dietician’s guidelines are observed and specific therapeutic diet needs are correctly met
• To liaise with nurses and kitchen on missing or incorrect meals
• To collect consumed meal trays from patients
• To perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Supervisor
• To ensure wards and non-ward areas are kept clean at all time
• To ensure patients are served with correct meals
