Job Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies, including setting performance goals, managing budgets, and overseeing resource allocation
- Function as the operational counterpart to the CEO; provide leadership, guidance, direction and consistency to the organisation at large
- Ensure cohesive and effective cross-functional collaboration amongst all business units.
- Drive change throughout the organisation as it grows and ensure flawless implementation and execution of plans
- Optimize production planning, identifying and rectifying bottlenecks and impediments to smooth production flow including day-to-day troubleshooting, supply chain management, ensuring raw materials are procured within cost/gross margin KPIs
- Ensure material forecast accuracy and material purchases (direct and indirect) by evaluating plant capacity to meet both short and long-term production forecasts, and integrate these requirements into capital planning
- Establish on-time distribution and fulfilment processes in accordance to relevant customer needs and regulatory/quality requirements, including in-house logistics processes and implementation of new technology and automation
- Embed quality and assurance in operations processes in accordance to certification requirements including compliance, audits and renewals

You need to have/be:
- 7 to 10 years of operations management experience, ideally in the food production or food services sectors
- At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Ownership mindset with prior P&L responsibilities
- Strong data-driven, analytical orientation for informed decision-making and continuous improvement
- Proven problem-solving skills, adept at launching and managing complex projects or businesses
- Comprehensive supply chain, logistics, and procurement expertise
- Track record in driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and process enhancement
