Job Description
Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Front Desk Officer is responsible for the overall care and service for guests throughout their stay.
Greets, meets and assist guests at all times in a friendly and helpful manner upon arrival
Registers and rooms all arrivals according to established procedures
Performs check in, check out and room change procedures and ensures all data are entered completely into the hotel systems in accordance with reservation
Responsible and attends to guests’ requests of using the service of safety box at all times
Knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures, for programs such as; Seasonal Packages, Frequent Flyers Programs, and also Intercontinental Hotels Group Loyalty program (IHG Rewards Club)
Recommends F&B outlets in the hotel to guests
Attends to guest’s complaints, inquiries and requests, referees problems to supervisor/Duty Manager if he/she is unable to assist
Familiar with other properties within InterContinental Hotels Group so that guest indicating any next destination on the registration card can be “sold” an onward booking to another hotel within InterContinental Hotels Group brands.
Job Requirements:
Minimum education in Hotel Management or equivalent
Minimum of 1 years in Reception or Guest Service experience will be a strong plus
Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken
