Job Summary

The Management Trainee's main responsibilities include providing (but not limited to) excellent customer service, assisting and advocating to customers on in-store ongoing promotions to boost the outlet’s sales. The Management Trainee will also carry out food order preparation, support the kitchen crew when in need, as well in in-charge of sanitising food preparation areas and cleaning duties when required.

Job Description

- All the service aspects with a gradual introduction to management tasks and roles.
- Serving of bread/drinks over the counter to customers.
- Fill customer orders, ensure that all products are fully stocked
- Inform customers of current/upcoming promotions.
- Recruitment and training of staff.
- Provide suggestive selling accordingly to customers’ interests.
- Cashiering duties.
- Assist Supervisors and Managers in ensuring smooth daily operation of the store.
- Train and guide new colleagues on Company’s SOP.
- Ensure cleanliness of the store at all times.
- All other ad-hoc duties given by Supervisors

- Welcome guest in a warm and friendly manner.
- To provide excellent customer satisfaction through exceeding expectations of guests.
- To provide excellent customer service to guest in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring diners a pleasant dining experience.
- Upsell promotional items.
- To perform quality checks in ensuring guests are enjoying their meals and take appropriate action to correct any problems (if any).
- Perform day to day pre-opening and closing activities as per SOPs.
- To adhere to service SOPs.
- Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintain and comply.
- Maintain day to day outlet cleanliness.
- Perform general housekeeping and equipment maintenance duties.
- Report on time, in proper uniform and grooming standard.
- Work together with other team members to provide good quality service.
- Assist in dishwashing duties as and when required.
- Execute any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

- Min. Diploma in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality/Tourism Management, Retail Management or any related fields.
- No experience/ At least 1 year of experience working in customer service or relevant experience in F&B.
- Pleasant, friendly, cheerful and able to work under pressure and in a high-volume environment.
- Able to work rotating shifts and on weekends & public holidays
- Able to commit to workdays of 5.5 days work week.
