Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
• Developing and maintaining data in databases, data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format.
• Generate queries, dashboards, and reports using complex datasets from a wide range of sources
• Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems.
• Take ownership of projects end-to-end, from initial requirements and data gathering to user testing and deployment.
• Implement best practices for knowledge transfer and documentation of data to achieve internal consistency and long-term efficiency.
• Support the data engineers, product managers and developers to develop data pipelines to automate data acquisition, cleansing and transformation of data for decision-making.
• Communicate results and impacts of insight initiatives to company and departments involved.
• Building dashboards and curating data stories for use cases.
• Relentless effort to research and apply latest Machine Learning (ML) techniques and willing to share the best practices with team.
Requirements:
• BA/BS in Comp. Sci., Engineering, Data Sci., Statistics, Econometrics. Master's Degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in database marketing, customer data analytics or customer data science.
• Proficient at SQL, VBA, Python, and Tableau (or similar dashboard tools)
• Experience in BI and visualization tools: PowerBI/Tableau, Streamlit, is preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese to liaise with teams
