Job Description
Responsibilities:

Ensure all safe work practices are adhered to when working with CNC machines and associated tools and equipment.
To set-up, programme and operate CNC milling machines (Turn Mill and 5-Axis) independently.
Troubleshoot technical problem.
Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements.
Ensure Production Run Time meets engineering allocated cycle time.
Write/edit a range of CNC programs and CAM for machining parts.
Understand and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of t/c parts, sequence of operations and set up requirements.
Setup and operate machines on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or program control data.
Conduct set-up tests: start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls as required.
Perform Arc Spray / Thermal Spray coating/ Laser cladding.
Ability to write and edit robotic programs is an advantage.
Verify conformance of finished parts to specs or drawings using measuring and inspection tools as required.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
Maintain a clean and organised work area & equipment.

Requirements:

Minimum Certificate / Nitec in Mechanical/ Electrical / Precision Engineering or equivalent.
Must be able to read engineering drawings.
Experience and able to operate physically on CNC 3-axis / 5-axis), milling machine or turn mill machines.
Able to do tool-setting.
General computer and CAM software knowledge.
Responsible, Positive Attitude and able to work well as a team.
Willing to work in Tuas, with company transport provided.
