You will responsible for the day-to-day accounting & finance function within the company, as well as play a major role in coordinating initiatives that relate to the overall financial performance of the business. Primary Responsibilities • Perform daily accounting & finance duties including receivables and payables processes, general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc. • Ensure timely month-end accounts closing and accuracy in the preparation of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets register, bank reconciliations and notes to the accounts • Monthly consolidation, review of financial performance against budget and re-forecasting where necessary • Manage monthly operating cash flow projections and execute the required treasury activities to ensure adequacy of working capital in all operating business units • Driving the annual budgeting process by working closely with respective budget owners • Preparing concise financial performance reports with commentaries for presentation to management and/or key stakeholders • Assist in the entries and verification of details in the company’s accounting system • Support audit and tax queries from external stakeholders • Liaise with external auditors, accountants, tax agents and company secretaries to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and timelines • Ensure compliance with financial policies and processes to reduce organisational risks exposure • Support the operational and sales teams in maintaining strong vendor relationships • Other ad-hoc duties Job Requirement • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related discipline with at least 5 years relevant working experience • Able to handle full set of accounts • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy volume of transactions in a FMCG industry • Hands-on experience in cloud accounting systems such as ERP would be an advantage. • Dynamic self-starter with excellent business partnering skills, who is mature, independent and willing to be hands-on • Familiar with various regulations, including but not limited to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act, Income Tax Act and Companies Act • High level of integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal • Analytical and technical problem-solving skills with acute attention to details, requirements and timelines Other Information Reports to: Chief Administrative Officer Workweek: 5-day (Monday to Thursday 9am to 6pm; Friday 9am to 5pm) Your action If you’re looking for an opportunity to be a part of an exciting and high growth company with a purpose and become a key member on our team, we will love to hear from you!
