Job Description

Job purpose
• The Therapy Aide supports and assists Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist in carrying out the required therapy for the clients.
Duties and responsibilities
• Conduct activities prescribed Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
• Report clients’ rehabilitation progress to Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist.
• Documentation of all activities conducted.
• Update monthly activity attendance.
• Display weekly activity schedule.
• Perform vital sign checks before conducting any activities.
• Assist in toileting when necessary.
• Maintain proper record and housekeeping of rehabilitation equipment.
• Other additional operational duties as assigned by Centre Manager.
Qualifications & Skills Required
• Diploma/ HMI certificate in a related field
• WSQ qualification in Therapy
• Experience working in an elderly setting is an advantage
• Compassion, critical thinking and organizational skills
