Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Plan, lead and supervise production team to ensure on-time delivery
• Manage and deploy manpower with direct and sub-contractor manpower
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties including engineering, project management, other production departments, vendors, owners and surveyors pertaining to project requirements
• Ensure that safety requirements are observed and complied to
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve technical issues and delay
• Attend production meetings to highlight issues for resolution and update clients on work progress
• Work with design team to ensure proper execution of construction for all piping systems
• Plan and arrange the tools, materials and manpower for onsite fabrication and installation piping works
• Prepare health, safety and risk information where applicable to work practices and toolbox
Requirements:
• Degree in any Engineering disciplines
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)
• Interest in Shipyard/ Marine/ Oil&Gas industry
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
• Must be able to board ships, enter confined spaces with limited visibility and have the ability to climb up and down stairs and/or ladders of varying heights.
• Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
