Job Description
The Office Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the workplace by handling a variety of tasks including the safe delivery of precious materials to the assigned locations, data entry for financial records, general office administration, and performing ad hoc duties as necessary. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, and safety-conscious to execute these responsibilities effectively.
1. Safe and timely delivery:
• Transport precious materials to and from workshops/flagship store following all safety protocols.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the items during transit.
• Verify delivery schedules and address any delays or issues promptly.
2. General office administration & Data Entry
• Accurately input financial data into relevant software or spreadsheets.
• Help to organise and maintain financial records and receipts.
• Coordinate with vendors for shop maintenance and repairs, where necessary
3. Ad Hoc Duties
• Be adaptable and willing to perform various tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Support colleagues in tasks that require assistance.
Requirement
• Secondary qualification able to speak simple English and mandarin to liaise with Chinese associate
• Safety conscious with ability to handle high value items.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Comfortable working in an office environment and travelling for deliveries.
