Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, implement and maintain safety, health and environment (HSE) activities.
• Support lead HSE to implement project HSE programs & initiatives
• Informs in writing to the HSE Manager on completion of the provision of necessary HSE equipment and fire preventive measures has been taken on board.
• Inspect and ensure safety measure have been taken on board.
• Endorse the various Permit-To-Work authorised by the company.
• Conduct daily inspection of project work and activities to ensure compliance with Government legislations and company's regulations.
• Investigate incidents, analysis of root causes and recommend corrective measures.
• Perform fire fighting and rescue operation when required.
• Plan, control and prepare work schedules, manpower distribution and tasks.
• Plan and execute yearly fire drills.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior(s) from time to time.
Requirements:
• Degree in any Engineering disciplines
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)
• Possessed following safety certificates - Hot Work, Work At Height and Confined Space Assessor will be an added advantage
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
• Must be able to board ships, enter confined spaces with limited visibility and have the ability to climb up and down stairs and/or ladders of varying heights
• Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
