Requirements:
1. Ability to work in a cold environment and comfortably engage in repetitive work activities, follow schedules, operate machinery, and handle cold materials.
2. Training will be provided to applicants with little to no experience in operating processing equipment.
3. Capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy items.
4. Responsible, punctual, with a good working attitude, a team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
5. Applicants with WSQ certification in basic food hygiene and familiarity with food handling and fish processing have an added advantage.
6. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare workstations at the start of processing and diligently clean and reinstate workstations after processing.
2. Handle the processing of frozen/chilled fish and seafood using various equipment components, encompassing cutting, trimming, de-boning, de-skinning, packing (vacuum packing, strapping), and proper product storage.
3. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of tools and equipment.
4. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards, and stay updated with industry standards.
5. Undertake additional food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor, as needed.
