Job Description
ACP Group is looking for an Electrician to join our team and help Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of installations. The Executive will work alongside several other contractors including plumbers, builders, painters, carpenters, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience working in facility management and handyman services.
What to Expect:
- Perform maintenance works on UPS, generators, FM200, fire alarm, sprinkler, high voltage and low voltage switchboards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of installations, fixtures and fittings, equipment, common facilities and property to ensure they are clean, safe and in good working condition.
- Undertake minor building, mechanical and electrical repair works. Maintain and repair electrical control wiring and lighting systems and handyman works (such as changing of light bulbs, resetting drawer locks, etc.)
- Monitor and attend to maintenance service requests, investigate and initiate corrective actions for any service and equipment breakdown, or fault detected during routine check, servicing and maintenance.
- Daily, weekly and monthly inspection of key facilities, systems and critical areas.
- Coordinate and supervise the rectification of defects, maintenance, replacement and upgrading works carried out by contractors.
- Supervise contractors whilst they conduct maintenance works.
- Monitor utilities consumption by taking water and electricity meter readings and report out of normal consumptions.
- Assist in fire safety management, emergencies and business continuity plan.
- Liaise with other divisions on projects and maintenance works and ensure compliance with fire, health and safety standards.
- Ensure the updating of the engineering systems information databases (such as drawings, operation and maintenance manual, etc.)
- Any other facilities management works or related works that arise from the building operation and need.
A Successful Candidate should have/be:
- Minimum an ITE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software
- Possess a good working level of the English language, both spoken and written
