Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Plans sequence of drawings based on project deliverables to convert engineering requirements into drawings under instructions from experienced engineers.
- Performs drafting for basic and complex engineering drawings using drafting software and engineering network systems based on the company’s drafting manual, engineering standards, policies and procedures
- Responsible for supporting design and engineering activities under instructions from experienced engineers.
- Assist project teams by carrying out routine tasks in different aspects of product design; research, conceptualisation, drawing, testing and publication.
Requirements:
- Possess a meticulous nature to analyse various factors and calculations involved in ship and rig design.
- Require to work outdoors, on the shop floor, within dry docks to support production work and alignment to design specifications.
- Possess a level of physical fitness appropriate to the job requirements.
