Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role is to assist in promoting and cultivating 5-S culture in the organization through implementation of continuous improvement projects, training and coaching.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for facilitating continuous improvement work sessions, that lead teams through rapid improvement events to address strategic projects or value stream initiatives. Focus on continuous improvement and assist to cultivate 5-S culture across the organization.

2. Execute analytical approaches and applies proven structured process improvement techniques in support of the company’s supply chain operation and production processes.

3. Leads efforts for establishing and sustaining improvement processes supporting respective department managers and supervisors. Provide assistance in conducting initiatives aimed at spreading 5-S Knowledge across the organization.

4. Optimizes processes using understood and deployed Continuous Improvement (5-S culture) fundamentals across departments for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

5. To create a 5-S culture that empowers individuals to relentlessly pursue waste elimination driving continuous improvement and maximizing customer value.

6. Train and coach employees in training the staff in 5-S Tools and Methodology including preparation of training curriculum to promote a Continuous Improvement (5-S) culture and develop Continuous Improvement (5-S) competencies.

7. Supports value-added idea generation throughout the company reminding management to go and see the needs and support the work where it happens to promote a Continuous Improvement (5-S) culture.

8. Provide assistance to or support any section in the organization in implementing 5-S projects that improves Quality, Cost or Delivery.

9. Lead 5-S Projects / Kaizens as assigned by the General Manager.

10. Comply with HSE standards and participate actively in contributing towards HSE improvement.

11. Handle any other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum Diploma with 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in food manufacturing; OR Degree in Engineering with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing.

2. Requires the ability to partner with and influence senior level leadership.
