Position summary • Plan and execute (Manpower planning, Cost control, Attend Vessel Issue, Technical issue, achieve department target & KPI) • Collaborate with supervisor and foreman for job execution. • During absence of DH, take responsible for the overall activities of the Electrical department. Tasks and Responsibilities Responsible for: (The main job activities) • Read and understand technical specifications, prepare job-list, work schedule, plan material take off and manpower planning of yard men and contractor for each given jobs. Report department head and update any special contractor (Vendor/Maker) requirements • Order the material required as per material take off and co-ordinate with purchase department for timely delivery of the materials • During job execution, provide technical solution as required by foreman or supervisor • Ensure safety, discipline and welfare for all subordinates. • Collaborate with supervisor and foreman to ensure that trade work carries out as per specifications and to the satisfaction of the owner/class & timely completion. Ensure good quality work and perfect safety. Ensure that owner acknowledged on AWRF for all additional works. • Collaborate with engineering department for design and engineering requirement as and when required. • Ensure that all trade work modification works are recorded with mark-up / red-line drawings to be made and approved by owner’s representative. • Maintain good housekeeping and Safety at all times on board vessel & workshop. Ensure that all workers follow safe work procedures at all times • Ensure that minimum wastage of materials and balance material to be accounted and returned to store at the end of the project. • Prepare and review department documents (RA, SOP, Internal & External auditing, OR) with supervisor and manager • Attend management meeting on behalf on DH as required. • Ensure all work completion reports are done by Ship in-charge (foreman/supervisor), verify & submit to owner Rep to get sign before handing over to commercial department on time (before vessel delivery). • Monitoring vessel daily job deployment report to achieve target on time. • Perform other related jobs as assigned by DH. • Ensure Permit to work system is followed strictly.

Tasks and Responsibilities Assist Section Project Lead in day to day operations. Perform the assigned mechanical task under quality and schedule. Advise the project’s design mode & standard Familiar with Class regulation/rules, product, standard Report the project daily discipline (Man-hour/Schedule etc.) Able to work with other team members for the overall progress of the project Feedback for profession’s design mode & standard Train & Guide the other project mechanical engineer (AE or draft man) to work together. Study & Solve the project issues under mechanical responsibility Attend and report in project and section meeting Complete the assigned task for different project drawings or documents. Support Project Section Lead in Mechanical Technical issue. Coordinate with Shipyard /Consultant / Vendor Responsible to Mechanical Project Section Lead/ Mechanical Technical Lead Project Handling- New building project, Repair, Upgrading, Conversion project

Responsible for: (The main job activities) • In-house Paramedic supporting the shipyard work sites and provide standby medical coverage and act as first respondent during emergency situations e.g. work injury, trauma and other medical cases • Ensure proper house-keeping of first aid facilities and medical supplies / equipment on site and at the first aid /clinic center • Coordinate and render first aid refresher trainings such as CPR / AED and emergency medical management • To Inculcate the workplace health programs, thus to promote healthy working environment to the shipyard personnel’s • To ensure that the shipyard personnel’s are in line with the statutory requirements stipulated in the WSH medical examinations regulations. • To prepare monthly medical reports • Participate in ad hoc projects such as dept. Training, Emergency Evacuation Exercises, Planning and Execution of emergency rescue operation, Security planning during external events/projects, Safety Enhancements, etc.

Responsible for: (The main job activities) • Effective delegation and control of resources for optimum productivity. • Ensuring compliance with contracts, specifications, regulatory, company, quality, environment, occupational health and safety standards and procedures. • Plan, implement, and demonstrate continual improvement in occupational health and safety, quality, environment and productivity. • Liaison and coordination with regulatory bodies, clients, consultants, contractors, and internally within the company to satisfy their needs within commercial controls. • Ensure company and project milestones, and commercial controls are achieved by effective planning, logistics, and execution. • Comprehensive inputs to Planning department, not limited to equipment, materials, processes, activities, manpower, and ownership of project plan. • Control and monitor techno-commercial progress in relation to base line plan. • Identify bottlenecks, highlight possible delays in advance, propose and execute corrective and preventive actions. • Control and monitoring of variation orders, and coordination with Commercial department.
