Operations Executive

Senior Operations Executive

Job Purpose:The Senior Operations Executive is responsible for supporting the development of procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies with established procedures. The job holder assumes responsibilities for daily operations encompassing end-to-end order processing, facilitates the storage, deployment of products to clients and aids in conflicts resolutions. Critical Work Functions & Key Tasks1. Procurementa) Deploy organisation's procurement activities based on established product specifications and customer needs:- Compile local office orders to place them to vendors/suppliers- Validate local office orders- Work with regional managers/sales on order requirements (eg: order project based, buffered and plan orders- Follow up and track on daily operational issues/queries (eg: enquiry on stocks availabilities/product items/requesting for special prices/expediting/chasing orders, etc)b) Manage working level relationships with external vendors for optimal procurement transactions:- Checking on order confirmations from vendors- Follow up and coordinate with vendors/suppliers on order/shipment schedules and requirementsc) Monitor compliance of organisation's procurement targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)d) Execute measures to improve vendor management capability in the organisaion 2.
