Reporting to the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor, this role is responsible for assisting the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor in overseeing and guiding the housekeeping team to ensure that cleanliness standards within the campus are achieved. This includes manpower deployment, assignment of duties and work performance inspection. Responsibilities: - Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety and health regulations and enforce good safety practices at all times. - Assist to educate and guide the team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform daily work duties. - Assist to deploy, assign and inspect work duties under the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor’s guidance and in accordance with the ‘daily inspection checklist’, ensuring cleaning standards are maintained at all times. - Attend to all feedback and/or complaints promptly and amicably, and assist the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor in ensuring investigations, follow up actions and corrective/preventive actions are taken. - Manage and maintain the cleaning supplies inventory (including consumables, chemicals and equipment) to ensure daily cleaning activities can be executed seamlessly. This includes regular stock take, issuance of cleaning supplies and inventory documentation. - Ensure all medical claims and/or certificates for the housekeeping team are processed and submitted on a timely basis. - Request quotations for cleaning supplies when necessary. - Promote teamwork, quality service and coordination within the team and with other departments. - Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Head of Facilities. Requirements: - Strong knowledge in housekeeping processes and procedures - Minimum 1 year experience in leading a team - Basic proficiency in English (both written and verbal) and one other language - Basic computer skills - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - Tactful and maintains a pleasant disposition when handling stakeholders Location: This role will be based at the Lakeside campus.
